Biography :

Carine received her BA from the Lebanese American University Beirut, Lebanon in Communication Arts Radio/TV/Film, minoring in Sociology in 2009.

After that she wrote & directed her first film, Divona (Digital/18”).

​

She has worked in a broad variety of roles, gaining valuable experience in many areas of film - from preproduction supervisor to head of development and Art department supervisor.

​

Her team won an award for best art direction in 2011 in Cyprus International Film Festival for the first 3D feature film in Lebanon.

​

In 2012 Carine graduated from the diploma programme at the London Film Academy, were she directed Cold Shoulder, her third short fiction film. On the course Carine also discovered a new passion for sound and she has worked in the sound department for the past year in several features and shorts. 



Carine is currently developing her first feature.
